hear how it rushes in to whistle all around our ears and the top of our head!
giving us a blast of wake your "ASS" up awareness!
lets me pass that big rig get out of his way!
speed up to get out the bright kiss of its light he sent to our eyes brightly!
enjoy the dark blue sky above us as we rise high up in the hills & mountains!
witness how the rain falls and slide up the windshield without turning on the wipers!
gently going higher & higher following the signs 65SOUTH!
going up, up, and away & i am wondering how they built these roads way up here!
brace yourself with me, thats fog & those ARE clouds we are driving thru!
listen to natures music playing as i turn mine off lets hear the rain pour down by the loads!
the further we get the harder it comes down!
for a brief moment it hits with such frantic force!
then it slows and slows til it stops!
we drove through it a rain storm going up top!
wetness is over dryness is here, back to the norm!
more hours til we there, then we'll be done!
eyes get tired and heavy trying to close!
we look down the center of our nose!
the flow is steady rolling with the speedometer!
we need to pull over to rest ready for sleep!
we want to arrive there safe and alive!
reach my mark to see my two prizes!
afterwards drive and watch the sun rise!
we both see the wakening of the world!
the sky clouds are in a frosty blue swirl!
we traveling to see my two girls!
the closer i get the more excited i am!
the happier my mind is set!
to know in my arms i get to kiss and hug my daughters!
one more town over to my eyes i'll see!
nashville Tennessee is where we'll be!
we stretch our hips with contentment, joy, and accomplishments!
we give praises to the LORD for traveling mercy on this trip!
nothing can compare to the smiles of my two daughters!
I traveled many miles over hills and waters!
